Health and Safety Instruction & Skills Certification

• Managers attend ‘CITB – Health & Safety for Directors’.
• Supervisors/Site Managers attend 5 day course ‘Site Management Safety Training’.
• Operatives are given site induction and regular ‘Toolbox Talks’.
• The Group has a policy of continuous improvement whereby the skills and knowledge of all employees is constantly monitored and suitable and relevant training provided as deemed appropriate, necessary and consistent with good practice.

Safe Systems of Work
Site risk assessments, COSHH assessments and preparation of safety method statements are carried out using generic forms. Site personnel are talked through the requirements of our systems of work on site, including risk assessments after which they are required to sign acceptance and understanding of same.

Sub-Contractors
Are required to satisfactorily complete our pre-qualification document. If accepted they are subject to continuous monitoring on site.

Inspections, Audits and Monitoring
We monitor performance on health and safety matters of the works under our control by continuous regular random inspections.

Accident and Enforcement Statistics
There are no instances of RIDDOR occurrences nor improvement notices, prohibition notices or prosecutions served upon us by any Enforcing Authority.
